We use custom vinyl stencil cutting to burn patterns onto wood. This allows for food safe creations of Charcuterie, Serving, Cutting, and Chopping boards.
We've added the ability to carve wood and aluminum with a CNC machine that uses a spindle to cut and carve shapes.

402 Etch & Vinyl, LLC is an Omaha-based, family-owned custom creation business built around one simple idea: if you can dream it, there’s a pretty good chance we can figure out how to make it.
What started as a creative side project has grown into a full custom shop combining laser engraving, custom apparel, sublimation, 3D printing, CNC woodworking, custom hats and patches, vinyl, personalized gifts, signage, memorial pieces, and one-of-a-kind creations. We’re Amber & JT, the husband-and-wife team behind 402, and this business is very much a family operation. We aren't interested in becoming another cookie-cutter promotional products company. We like the projects that start with, “I have this crazy idea…” Those are usually the fun ones.
Our shop combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology - CO₂ and fiber lasers, CNC equipment, professional DTF printing, sublimation equipment and 3D printers - allowing us to create everything from a single sentimental gift to apparel and branded merchandise for an entire business or organization.
And unlike companies built around massive production runs, we welcome the one-offs. No order minimum means somebody needing one special item matters just as much as a business needing a larger order.
But the biggest part of 402 isn't the equipment.
It's the people behind what we're making.
A memorial piece remembering someone important. A shirt supporting a kid going through something tough. A retirement gift celebrating decades of work. A sign for someone's first business. Team gear for a hometown school. A completely inappropriate hat that makes everybody at the bar laugh.
Those aren't just products coming out of our shop.
